This past Wednesday the seniors at the Smithfield Senior Center were treated to a special lunch prepared by Chef Cassandra Birocco, the culinary mind behind Great Aunt Louise.
It is the mission of Plates With Purpose not only to help fight food insecurity in our state but also to support independent restaurants that are still trying to recover from the after effects of Covid, as well as the increased food costs facing us all. We believe empowering restaurants creates the opportunity for them to support their local communities by providing meals to households that are struggling to meet their basic food needs.
